Nicole Crosby co-founded the non-profit organization Save Guana Now whose mission is to prevent 66 homes from being built on conservation land that is surrounded by the Guana Research Reserve near Jacksonville, Florida. The development would imperil protected land, water, and wildlife. Her past activism includes her Greenwich, CT protest against the killing and mutilation of animals for “art” by Damien Hirst.
Nicole’s marketing background has been central to her activism. She’s an advertising copywriter and former Sr. VP at Doyle Dane Bernbach, New York. She’s also a small business owner with roots in Austin, Texas; her online company is TexasFireframe.com. In other advocacy work, Nicole serves on the development board of the American Institute of Physics.
